megan & jason’s wedding was such a great way to wrap up last weekend…this couple were easy going and as you can see from their photos, love to laugh with each other! they opted to see each other prior to the ceremony in the courtyard at the sheraton hotel followed by some fun at the unbelievable packed beach and boardwalk in asbury park…we then headed off to the english manor which was bursting with color upon our arrival from all the gorgeous wildflowers and plantings that lisa lovingly oversees… we always have a ball when nick cavaliere from imagine entertainment is on the mike…the florals, created by sunset florist, were soft and lovely…take a look…

i was so excited to be photographing saffiyah & adil’s beachside wedding…not only because of all the gorgeous colors and details involved or because it was on the ocean at one of my favorite venues, windows on the water, or because this couple was blindingly beautiful but because even though the weather was iffy and the ceremony was moved up they were so easy going and relaxed and such great people to spend time with… and because of my frequent conversations and visits with saffiyah’s family, i literally got swept up in their excitement…i loved, loved the signing boards in red and yellow that had saffiyah and adil’s thumbprints as well as their wooden card box with their names, date and “forever” painted in the same colors…the flowers provided by designs by ahn of new york were beautiful and warmed the room with color…a special thank you to wedding coordinator, puja and ashli from windows and it was great working with jen anderson on video…beautiful makeup by rubina iqbal
from the day i met samantha and her wonderful parents in my studio well over a year and a half ago, she was so excited about her wedding day…in the days leading up to the big day, you could hardly contain her exuberance and on the day of her wedding, her happiness was bubbling over! having spent time with this couple for their engagement session, i knew that i was in for alot of laughter…matt is so funny…and i loved the two sided baseball cap that samantha’s dad stuart had made for the bride—one side ny yankees the other boston red sox representing the brides team (the better one:) and the groom’s…sara and i loved working at the venetian with mike simons on video and the incredible band the rhythm shop…it was so great seeing caitlin & scott ricciardi and her parents, the ceceres… here’s a small preview!
last friday was such a treat! not only because of jamie & matt, who could not have been cuter but also because the wonderful jen rutherford gave me an assist…thank you jen for sharing the day, your talent and sense of humor with me…from st. mary’s church to the asbury park boardwalk and finally at the sterling ballroom, it was a great day…
