…i was so honored to share in this lovely couple’s beautiful day…they are the warmest, funniest, most endearing people and a pleasure to be around…sara and i and the fabulous, jennifer anderson, from sands of time video, absolutely loved spending the day with them at the newly renovated and gorgeous clarks landing yacht club in pt. pleasant…thank you so much to don and nicole for all the tours, attention and the yummy meals…we can’t wait to work with you again…i was so happy to see all my favorite people from petal beach florist, bonnie, chris and carmen, because i knew that i was going to have amazing floral designs to photograph…tina had so many beautiful details and her green (i know this could have gone either way but it was so pretty) cake looked SO good…during the ceremony outside overlooking the bay, the couple celebrated their new family by presenting mayur’s son, evan, with a beautiful necklace and the butterflies they released at the end of the ceremony showed up just about everywhere including inside where i found one hanging from the chandelier over the couple as they danced their first dance (see below)…all in all, a wonderful day!

…last night was the first night in a long time that i actually enjoyed being outside…it was simply beautiful at the beach in asbury park and the boards were bustling with activity and finally the humidity was at a bearable percentage! it was the perfect setting for the engagement session of nicole and gerard whose wedding i’m photographing in late august…nicole looked adorable in her dress, red flower hairpin, cherry red heels and cigar box handbag and so i just couldn’t resist getting some shots in the just as colorful candyteria (thank you to them for letting me invade)…i had such a great time with this couple and can’t wait for their wedding!
joyful: that is the word that comes to mind when i think of mary callanan before, during and after exchanging vows with tom reilly…every facial and physcial expression she exhibited the entire day was JOYFUL! and tom braved the rain and unbearable humidity to allow us some photo time at the seascape manor in the highlands…this couple’s high energy carried on to their lively reception at the beautiful Beacon Hill Country Club in the highlands…it was great working with Dominick from Elite entertainment…and i loved mary’s blue shoes!
monday evening, i spent a little bit of time in oceanport at the bayfront home of diana crawford to document the celebration of a milestone birthday for her…despite the neverending heatwave, we managed to capture some beautiful images of this gorgeous family and their friends and a pretty nice sunset as well…
i absolutely love this couple…you never would have known it was 90+% humidity because they were both SO unbelievably happy! happy to be there, in love with each other and their day and brian literally could not contain his excitement during the evening over marrying his love and sharing it with friends and family that shared in their joy…the site for all this lovefest was the wonderful, imperia, in somerset…lauren and brian really personalized their day with so many examples of their love of travel from the passport place cards that the bride’s sister made or the beautifully etched cake of different european cities to the photo frames on each table with a different city on the frames and the photo cube of pictures from their travels that topped their cake…radio legends cousin brucie and bill rock both toasted the happy couple…it was a really great way to wrap up the month…
